The objective of this study is to identify the practices developed by Brazilian Federal Universities (UFs) related to the minimum content of Disclosure, Awareness, and Training (DCC) of their Sustainable Logistics Management Plans (PLS) and their respective indicators. The standard addressing PLS requires the incorporation of four minimum contents, namely: updating of the inventory with lower environmental impact for substitution; sustainability practices and rationalization of the use of materials and services; responsibilities, implementation methodology, and evaluation of the plan; and finally, DCC actions. However, in this study, only DCC actions are addressed. In order to achieve the proposed objective, qualitative research was developed, based on bibliographic and documentary studies. The results demonstrate that, possibly due to cultural issues, the majority of Brazilian public managers of UFs' PLSs have difficulties in implementing the Plan and publishing their Monitoring Reports. The lack of awareness about the importance of indicators as a monitoring tool became evident.
