Sustainability, Cooperation, Socio-environmental Actions, Environmental educationAbstract
The devaluation of natural elements in urban environments, a consequence of the disorderly development of cities, highlights the urgency in the search for massive community awareness, as well as the promotion of regenerative actions, aiming to reverse environmental degradation. In this sense, this work describes the institutional commitment of the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG) with regenerative and Environmental Education actions in the municipality of Alfenas-MG, based on the Institution's formalized cooperation with the Municipal Secretariat for Climate, Sustainability and Innovation Social (Secsis). The work used systemic thinking, with identification and analysis of the elements related to the UNIFAL-MG partnership with the municipal executive power, systematizing the actors, functions and relationships between them, to implement regenerative and awareness-raising actions, objects of the partnership interinstitutional. With an emphasis also on governance practices, as well as environmental education actions aimed at sustainability, a systemic management model is presented as a product, to assist in the operationalization and achievement of effective actions, based on the cooperation signed. The valuation of this work exposes why it presents the chain of thought - behavior - action, exposing the possibilities of social and interinstitutional mobilization in favor of socio-environmental actions, which are expected to spark transformative changes, idealizing the transition of society to a sustainable culture.
