Abstract

: This article aims to present the Rapid Assessment Protocol for Schools – PAR-E, a methodology created to diagnose school environmental quality, presenting its use as a pedagogical methodology for use in schools and presenting a model, result and analysis of a diagnosis made in a public school in the city of Juazeiro/BA. We used as theoretical and methodological support the studies of Botelho (2017); Silva (2016) and Mynaio (2001). We conclude that this methodology makes it possible to see environmental problems in schools with a view to provoking changes and reflections in schools so that they are motivators and multipliers of environmental actions, which is a great contribution to the process of building knowledge and sustainable change in the urban environment.
