Abstract

It deals with the research of a systematic investigation regarding the constitutional right of man to quality of life and the consequent exercise of citizenship. The world landmark that drew attention to the degradation of the environment and the consequent extinction of natural resources held in 1992 in Sweden in Stockholm aimed to draw the attention of heads of states, civil organizations and entities to the global environmental crisis. The method used was based on the abundant doctrine and legislation that Brazil has regarding the environment. Based on this research, the conclusion is reached that it is necessary to make the instruments available to the country in the fight against harmful practices to the environment known to the different social segments.
