THE REVERSE LOGISTICS OF MEDICINES AS A MOTIVATING SUBJECT FOR LEARNING AND ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS IS NOT FUNDAMENTAL

Abstract

This work presents the results of a didactic sequence with an emphasis on scientific and environmental education involving middle school students with the topic of drug disposal as a motivating theme. This work was based on learning according to Paulo Freire, or who proposes the idea that the student assimilates or is the object of study by making use of a practice involving reality in order to develop autonomy in two students through experience, transforming thoughts and promoting, assim, learning. A didactic sequence comprises a set of organized activities, structured and articulated with a focus on learning. The results obtained suggest that this is a facilitating resource for an interdisciplinary approach to education, with great potential in training citizens who are aware and scientifically and technologically literate regarding the issue of reverse logistics of medicines and the environmental impacts associated with their inappropriate disposal. The proposed activities and the involvement, interaction and participation of two students will collaborate not only to build learning, but also to develop skills and competencies, not dealing with the problem of drug residues and the responsibility of the city in promoting reverse logistics, expanding perception environmental education and awareness for environmental problems, configuring itself as a practice that also attends to the assumptions of environmental education.
